Small Business Features - Website Administration

Allow website administrators to create and edit content from any location in the world via a standard web browser and without the need to download and install any special software. The website administrator just needs a login and a password. Several web browsers can be used for website administration - including Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer as well as Firefox, Mozilla and Netscape for Macintosh, Microsoft Windows, Linux and Unix and Safari for Macintosh.

Define 3 website administrators. Allow your website administrators to manage different parts of your website and perform different tasks in the content creation, management and publishing work-flow process.

The Website Administration Toolbar and the main Website Administration (Home) screen give you full access to manage and configure your entire website. Choose to Browse & Edit the website or create and edit content in content and media libraries.

Create and modify registered website visitors and website administrators in the User Database.

Superadmin will also have access to Configuration where the website database and system are setup and the mode of operation of all features are chosen.

When a website administrator is logged into the web content management system the entire website can be browsed in Browse & Edit mode. Each content item is outlined with administration details and links. Pages and content blocks can be edited directly by clicking an Edit link in the top bar of the content block. The Edit link will only be available for website administrators with permission to edit the content block. In the top bar of the content block you can also view the current publication status of content.

To keep the website administration as simple as possible, but as powerful as necessary most features have several configuration options. Unneeded features can be disabled and enabled again when and if needed. No technical knowledge is required to configure features as configuration options are selected directly in screens fully integrated in the web content management system.
