Website visitors can register on your website to gain access to special sections of your website, which require registration. You can design your own registration web page and the registration procedure is flexible and allows you to choose whether users will choose their own username and password or if they will be generated automatically. Upon registration you can choose to send out an automated confirmation e-mail with details of the registration. When registered you can allow users to change their personal details including username and password online.

When a user registers on your website you can choose to automatically assign a personal web page to the user where the user can add and edit their own content. The user will have the extensive editing possibilities, which are available in the Asbru Web Content Editor.

You may allow registered users to select personalised web content, which will be displayed on their personal web page. For example you can create a horoscope element class and create a horoscope element with predictions for each star sign. Registered users can select their star sign and the predictions for their star sign will be displayed on their personal web page.

Guestbooks

Create one or more guestbooks to enable website visitors to post comments on your website. Website visitors post their own new entries using a simple guestbook form where a subject and message can be entered. Optionally, website visitors can also leave their contact details. You have full flexibility in creating your own graphic design for the guestbook form.

Message Boards

Use the message board functionality to create one or more message boards for your website. The message board enables you to add topics or messages to your website and enables website visitors to add comments, questions etc. to each topic/message. You can choose to notify the administrator of your website every time a new comment is added to one of your messages. You have full flexibility in creating your own graphic design, adding message board summaries and archives for your message board and in choosing whether the message board is public or for registered website visitors only.

Discussion Forums

Use the discussion forum functionality to create one or more discussion forums for your website visitors to discuss topics of interest. The discussion forums can contain as many discussion levels as required. You can choose to notify the administrator of your website every time a new comment is added. You have full flexibility in creating your own graphic design, adding summaries and archives for the discussion forum and in choosing whether the forum is public or for registered website visitors only.

Use the weblog functionality to create one or more weblog diaries where you as a website administrator can post entries periodically. Website visitors can add their comments to your posted entries. You can choose to notify the website administrator every time a new comment is added. You have full flexibility in creating your own graphic design, adding summaries and archives for the weblog and in choosing whether the weblog is public or for registered website visitors only.

Email Mailing Lists

Select registered website users, and if you are using the Community functionality in conjunction with the Small Business, Professional or Hosting Edition, website administrators, from the User Database and send bulk e-mails with newsletters, product updates, intranet holiday plans etc. to the selected users. You have full flexibility in designing your e-mails with the Asbru Web Content Editor. You can either design your e-mails from scratch or use a copy of an existing page in the web content management system as a template for your e-mails.
If you are using the Community functionality in combination with the Small Business, Professional or Hosting Edition of the Asbru Web Content Management system you can easily select entire groups or types of users to send e-mails to.

Product Reviews

If you use the E-commerce functionality in combination with the Community functionality you can allow users to post their own product reviews for your products. You have full flexibility in creating your own graphic design for the product review entry forms and in choosing whether posting of product reviews require website visitors to be registered. You can choose to notify the website administrator every time a new product review is added.
